  Zakura Common: High Performance Zcash Cryptography

  We have released accelerated forks of the Zcash ecosystem's cryptography libraries, making proof generation more than 14x faster and Sinsemilla hashing more than 21x faster.

  Release: Zakura 1.2.0, 87% faster full block processing

  Zakura 1.2.0 removes redundant proof verification from block acceptance, cutting full block processing from 2.5 to 0.32 seconds and sharply reducing orphan rates in our experiments. All node operators should update.

  Release: Zakura 1.1.1

  Zakura 1.1.1 closes block-propagation attacks that could eclipse a syncing node or leave miners working from a stale tip, and includes major RPC, peer-connectivity, and fast-sync improvements. All node operators should update immediately.

  Zakura 1.0.5 fixes fresh-sync failures, replenishes depleted peer sets, and reduces network and metrics overhead. All node operators should update.

  Zakura 1.0.4 makes block verification about 20% faster, improves P2P v2, and further hardens legacy sync.

  Zakura 1.0.3 hardens peer networking and mempool gossip, and marks zcashd compatibility mode as stable for Ironwood. All node operators should update.

  Zakura 1.0.2 makes zcashd compatibility mode substantially more reliable and fixes other bugs and performance issues. All node operators should update.
